In Messina, on 27 and 28 May, the workshop “The SwitchersFund: A Venture Philanthropy Fund for the Mediterranean” is taking place, organized by MedWaves in collaboration with SEFEA MED and Fondazione MeSSInA.
The objective of this workshop is to establish a new Venture Philanthropy Fund—a solidarity-driven, patient-capital financial instrument aimed at fostering systemic, sustainable, and equitable territorial development across selected areas of the Mediterranean. The workshop provides a collaborative space to co-define the fund’s modalities, operational principles, and strategic direction.
