Organized by Plan Bleu, this workshop took place in Marseille and online, bringing together researchers from across the Mediterranean to discuss financial mechanisms and economic tools supporting a sustainable transition. Following the 2024 focus on environmentally harmful subsidies, 13 papers on green tools funded by Plan Bleu were presented and debated. These contributions will feed into the publication of an Edited Volume by Plan Bleu-UNEP/MAP-Barcelona Convention, scheduled for release by the end of 2025.
