The Cyprus Marine and Maritime Institute (CMMI) and the PUREEF-Y project are the organisers of the third regional conference, THALASSA 2026 – Marine Sciences Conference.
THALASSA 2026 creates a platform for knowledge exchange by bringing together marine experts and stakeholders from academia, research institutes, industry, NGOs, and the public sector, who present the latest interdisciplinary innovations and state-of-the-art developments bridging scientific, technological, social, and policy perspectives.
By addressing and proposing science-based solutions to the challenges faced by marine and coastal environments in the Mediterranean region, the conference also provides networking opportunities for participants to discuss current and potential collaborations.
