Kick-off Meeting
WES-BCA organizes an online kick-off meeting for the regional activity, which aims to support the Mediterranean Partner Countries in improving the implementation of harmonized marine litter monitoring programmes across all matrices, while also contributing to more effective reporting and mitigation measures, in line with the Regional Plan on Marine Litter Management under the Barcelona Convention.
This remote kick-off meeting aims to introduce the activity to the national focal points and country representatives, present the proposed workplan and methodology, and discuss logistical arrangements. It will also provide an opportunity to identify key stakeholders and agree on the timing and format of the upcoming regional webinar.
