More than 100 representatives from NGOs, parliaments, the media, women and youth groups, research institutes, and private sector associations from across the Mediterranean are gathering in Cairo, Egypt, for the Mediterranean Stakeholders Forum on Environment and Climate Action, entitled “Achieving Behavioural Change”.
The Forum brings together diverse voices and expertise to strengthen understanding, build capacity, and foster communities of practice throughout the Mediterranean. Its aim is to break down siloed approaches to governance, promote shared narratives, and accelerate behavioural change in support of climate preparedness.
The Forum is supported by the European Union, the Mediterranean Action Plan of UNEP, the Union for the Mediterranean, the League of Arab States and the Ministry of Environment of Egypt. It is made possible with the support of the EU-funded WES-BCA project and the GEF-funded MedProgramme, in close collaboration with the EU Delegation to Egypt, RAED and other partners that champion climate action through diverse initiatives.
