On 29–30 June 2026, Trieste, Italy, will host SPAMI Day 2026, organized by SPA/RAC in collaboration with the Miramare Marine Protected Area.
The event will bring together SPAMI (Specially Protected Areas of Mediterranean Importance) managers and representatives Mediterranean experts, and institutional partners to discuss key challenges related to the conservation and management of protected areas, as well as the role of SPAMIs in ecosystem restoration efforts.
