This webinar is part of the Communities of Practice Webinar Series, hosted by the CBD Secretariat to support the implementation of the Kunming-Montreal Global Biodiversity Framework and the mainstreaming of biodiversity within and across sectors.
As part of the response to decision 16/13, this webinar will focus on best practices and lessons learned in mainstreaming biodiversity in the fisheries sector, with an emphasis on strengthening engagement across fisheries value chains, from catch to consumers.
The webinar will explore how fisheries actors, and in particular the private sector, can better align with and actively contribute to the effective implementation of the Framework. The webinar also aims to bring together organizations and initiatives already working to engage the fisheries sector, discuss available tools and learning materials, and identify opportunities to strengthen collaboration.
