The Webinar will be providing a “close-to-end” opportunity and easily accessible way for the Partner
Countries to clarify any questions, address uncertainties, fill in gaps and resolve challenges related to the
preparation of the 7NR. In December 2025, a survey was circulated among CBD Focal Points to identify
questions, gaps and challenges they face in the preparation of the 7NR, as well as to communicate their
progress. These points will be forwarded, in due time, to the CBD Secretariat and the other co-organizers
to be clarified by the experts during the Webinar.
Participants are: the Focal Points of the Convention of Biological Diversity, the WES-BCA and other
Environment and Water Focal Points, as well as Consultants appointed to support the national efforts for
the preparation of the 7NR (if applicable) and other Ministry Representatives or Stakeholders particularly
involved in the CBD reporting in the Partner Countries.
