The session will explore how innovative financing and strategic partnerships are generating impact in the conservation of marine, freshwater, and terrestrial habitats and species. Key Mediterranean initiatives will be presented (DIMFE, MedFund, Monk Seal Alliance, Pelagos Initiative, Human-Wildlife Initiative, and BeMed).
Speakers will discuss effective funding mechanisms, multi-stakeholder collaboration, and strategies to scale up conservation solutions. Participants will gain practical knowledge on how to mobilize resources, align funding strategies, and foster cross-sector cooperation, actively contributing to the discussion to enhance conservation outcomes in the Mediterranean and beyond.
