The pan-Mediterranean digital campaign to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the UNEP/MAP follows its route also in 2026 to celebrate the 50th Anniversary of Barcelona Convention through a more and more rich constellation of events around the Mediterranean Sea

The Circular Gaia Symposium 2025 brings together international stakeholders in Athens to foster dialogue on sustainability, climate resilience, and the circular economy. Organised by the Circular Economy and Climate Institute of the European Public Law Organisation (EPLO), the event convenes high-level politicians, experts, academics, and civil society representatives to address key issues such as the energy transition, circular cities, innovation, sustainable tourism, cultural heritage, and the blue economy.

With its 2025 edition, the Circular Gaia Symposium reaffirms its commitment to ambitious climate action, regional collaboration, and the integration of circular economy principles into politics, the economy, and society.
