The REMPEC is organizing a regional webinar on the effective implementation of Annex VI of the MARPOL Convention, with particular focus on the MED SOx ECA requirements, on 24 September 2025, funded by the Mediterranean Trust Fund (MTF).
The webinar brings together many participants from 13 of the 22 Contracting Parties to the Barcelona Convention. It is aimed at government officials responsible for the ratification, implementation, and enforcement of Annex VI of the MARPOL Convention. Some participants represent authorities/organizations responsible for regulating maritime transport, while others represent authorities/organizations dealing with marine environment issues.
