This workshop, co-organized by Plan Bleu and the Royal Institute for Strategic Studies, brought together key Moroccan stakeholders and experts to discuss strategic issues related to sustainable development. As part of the MED2050 foresight exercise launched in 2019 under the Barcelona Convention, the workshop focused on defining transition pathways to ensure the long-term protection of Mediterranean ecosystems. Participants worked on selected MED2050 scenarios to identify priority actions for the short, medium, and long term, aiming to guide the region towards a sustainable future while mitigating potential risks. The discussions concluded with policy recommendations and possible action levers to support this transition.
